Hi,
I would like to ask your assistance: I have installed a Multi-function Steering Wheel to my E46. The buttons are not light emitted and not functional, but the cable is connected. I was searching for the setting in NCS dummy, but I can not find it. In which module is it located in? Or the issue might be somewhere else? What do you think?
It is mandatory to buy and install the following retrofitting kit? Maybe that is why it is not working?

Thanks for the help,

Suggest you get a good set of wiring diagrams for your car and compare them with the wiring in your car. You may well need the EBay kit to add wires in.
I fitted a Z4 cruise control stalk into an E46 and had to wire the cruise control signal all the way to the DME. No coding needed, just added the wire.

There is only one thing more pleasurable than working on a Z3, that's driving it top down on a fine day.
Hi Muzz!
Thanks for the reply! Meanwhile I made some more research in the topic, and found an offical retrofit manual with diagrams with different car models from BMW. Also I found a great youtube step by step guide witch follows the quide, so cable set is on its way from ebay, I think it should be fine.
Next project later will be the cruise control for me also.
