    Sorry guys, I made a mistake. That part # is actually for the brake booster...

    Edit: I'm pretty sure I found the right part # this time. It is:

    #34311162914

    It's the one for the 840. Realoem has it listed working for M73 850s as well. Weirdly enough, it seems like BMWs catalog does not have a brake master cylinder listed for late model 850s.

    I am not surprised in the least. Maybe I should put a list together of all the errors/unlisted parts in the ETK (e.g., realoem.com).

    Who ever you buy it from, have them tell you what you need by your VIN, that way you will have no problems returning it if necessary.

    BMW of Cincinnati has the cheapest price I've been able to find... unfortunately, BMW doesn't seem to have a brake master cylinder listed at all for my VIN. A parts guy tried to tell me that my car doesn't have one...

    Based on what txgr8white said and realoem, I'm pretty confident this is the right part.
