    Actuator

Someone who has a good description of how to remove the ”actuator” locking motor for the tank cap.

It’s a very simple removal process. The motor is held to the body with just 2 exterior mounted small hex screws, right next to the actuator rod that protrudes through the body. Next, remove right side trunk cover, reach around into the upper cavity behind battery, pull out actuator motor and finally disconnect the electrical wiring. Done!
