    E23 Engine bay vaccum lines ???

    Should these 2 lines be plugged into something or somewhere ?

    I can't tell with the pictures you posted, but if you've got the M30 motor like I do in my E32 here's a picture that might help you in the future. It shows where the vacuum hoses go from the bottom of the intake manifold to both the top of the fuel regulator as the T connection that plugs into the plastic boot. It also shows where the idle control valve plugs into in back of the manifold and the purge valve hose that also goes to the rear of the manifold. Might want to keep this pic for later, unless your E23/M30 is completely different than mine. Hope this helps you.

    Bottom of intake plenum. Both.

    First is part of the PCV system, second is part of the HVAC.

    Dump those ratty hoses and replace them with 1/8" silicone.
