Fuel and PS Line Disconnect Tool Recommendation

I need to disconnect the PS lines at the cooler as well as the fuel lines.

Can someone recommend an inexpensive tool kit for that? I have the Lisle kit, apparently for US vehicles, and it doesn't work.

You can disconnect the fuel lines by hand. Push the line forward, toward the fitting, and push the collar back while the connection is compressed. If you do it correctly the line can be pulled off. I am fairly certain the PS lines operate the same way.

Correct. Also if it won't release, blow compressed air into the clip side of the fittings to remove dirt and road junk that collects in them not allowing the connector to be disconnected from the line.

Also, try placing an open end wrench on the plastic collor and using it to depress the collor.

Thanks for helpful replies. The fuel line was a piece of cake but the PS connections at the cooler won't budge. One plastic collar even broke in two.

Your best bet is to dremel the hose connector of the cooler tube. Be careful not to damage the cooler tube as a replacement isn’t cheap and it’s a PITA to remove and replace.

Thanks, that looks like the route I will have to go.
