So on my '97 M3 I have 272k miles on it. I eventually want to drop the sub-frame and refresh everything under there. I was just curious as to the cost to do something like this, I know it's going to be outrageously expensive and not financially smart but I knew that when I got this car. I would like to know just a rough estimated cost though.
Front and rear? See my thread here:

I did a few other things "while I was in there" like the oil pan and steering rack, but generally this is probably everything you'll want to do to refresh the suspension. Cost will depend on what sort of new bushings/mounts you want to use and whether you need to pay for any welding for subframe reinforcement. Just the OEM front and rear ball joints, mounts, bushings, and tie rod ends will probably run $600-800 or so depending on what all you get. More if you go poly anywhere. The weld-in subframe reinforcements are under $100 for both.
It's the "while you're in there" stuff that creeps up the price. It's obviously a great time to do anything like rear CV joints, anything involving the diff, anything under the oil pan, the steering rack and PS system, and anything else made easier to get to with everything off. However, parts are generally pretty cheap for this thing compared to the massive amount of labor. It's a lot of work, especially solo.
