Does anyone happen to have one of these laying around? They are NLA.

Just checking -- you have an early ('91-'93) 850 that definitely uses this part? I have one, but its the one shown as part number 4 in this diagram:
https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...04#25111221581
RealOEM shows both as applicable to my car (94 CSi), but it definitely uses the latter type. I have both a regular bushing (used) and a polyurethane (new), if they would work for you.

This is a 1991, And we are converting it to a 6 speed. The Tunnel has the threaded holes to accept the type of bushing that I posted.. but yes I have seen some of the later cars seem to have the bushing that is just a steel tube with a bushing in it.

Any chance it will accept either one? I’m trying to remember what mine looked like from when I replaced mine

No, it will only take the one with the ears like in the picture.
I'm not sure what the carrier looks like to use the barrel shaped bushes, but you might want to look into that and fabricate the holder for that insert - because you won't find any more of the old ones, I was told 2 months ago that there were only 2 left in BMW global stock... and I bought them both. Sorry, I have 2 cars that need them....

mine was "worn" and indeed NLA... so i replaced the inner bushing with a rubber doorstop ! just had to grind it down so i could press it in the steel bracket and drill the center hole a little bit greater to match the shifter support. Easy fix.
You still looking for one of these brackets? In theory, I have 3 new ones on the way to me. Will know for sure in a few days.
Anybody have one of these that I can borrow for fabrication?

I'll be checking to see if a poly bushing will fit my carrier when I do my shift linkage.
I ordered one of these https://www.garagistic.com/products/...ng-e30-e28-e34
The stock rubber section on the e30/34 mount (PN# 25111220707) looks similar
I’ve removed mine, and took a couple of measurements. The rubber was so degraded after 29 years it fell apart.
I’d suggest using an early e30 or e34 mount as a starting point, as the rubber/poly bushing is the same.
Let me know if you need any further measurements

Brian (BdiefAZ) Fabricated a bracket for the still obtainable barrel type bushings. He tells me it fits perfectly.
Assuming he is better at fabricating than he is at electronics, he could probably give you the formula! hehe
