I'm seeing multiple brands of manufacturers for power steering hoses/reservoirs such as Meyle, Rein, ZF, and Genuine BMW. The price vary significantly. Does it really matter? Any bad experiences with inferior parts?
I've bought Rein hoses and they're fine. Rein is owned by CRP, a US company specializing in OEM parts for European cars. They also own Pentosin. Meyle or other well known OEM's should also be ok. No need to pay for the genuine BMW hoses unless you want to.

I've use them all and never really had any problems. I found some stuff on Rein a while back but I can no longer find the pages. Started as a German company and maybe purchased by a Chinese outfit with it's base located in Germany retaining the Rein name, but I don't remember the details completely. There are several automobile electronics companies that hail from Germany, Chinese companies with their addresses in Germany and production in China. Nothing wrong with that but something to consider. All of the Rein parts I've used for a while have 'Made in China' on the box so unless that means something different than what I'm used to.......
See ya later,
