Cooling system mystery

recurring overheating problems. Changed bad waterpump, thermostat, viscous fan and coolant reservoir.

drove it around locally with scanner cooler temps in the mid to high 90’s. Seems normal.
did about 10 miles at highway speed today, same temp readings. Seems good.

Popped the hood afterwards and noticed fresh coolant around the reservoir, could not determine exact source but seems close to top of tank.

Mysteriosly, about 45 mins later I looked at it again and both of the coolant hoses are collapsed. Normally they are tight.

What does that say?


Will do a cylinder leak down and block test soon.

Could it be a bad coolant tank cap? and has the system been properly bled?
