    which BMW?

I love BMW's, but hate the expensive problems associated with them. I currently have a 2010 535i that constantly seems to be having problems. fuel pump, cracked valve cover, rattlin turbos, etc.
I want to get another BMW in that 2007-2012 range, but want the simplest model, with the best reputation, and fewest parts that can go wrong! What are your recommendations?

This is exactly why I left BMW. And now you want another? Why?

    The car you describe as
the simplest model, with the best reputation, and fewest parts that can go wrong!
    is a Honda or Toyota.

    Good luck.

I had a four cilinder diesel X3 F25, fantastic car.
Use it for going skiing on weekends and general familiy travel. Also for city driving and anything you throw at him!

The car was comfy, reasonably spaoious, went on rails and loved mountain roads as far as they were well paved. Almost compact size could carry the lugagge of our 3 kids family no problem.

you dont need a flashy, overengineered, expensive car! (Although is nice to have one from time to time hahahah)

My 2013 128i is probably your best bet, but it is small.
