Went to the drag strip on Friday and after 7k miles my clutch apparently was dead... I managed 15 passes that night but... the clutch is completely and totally dead.
If my FW isn't completely screwed I could get a South Bend early this week (I live like 45 min away and have a wholesale account) However I suspect the damage to the FW will be pretty bad....
I'm looking into a twin disc organic clutch. Either the Competition Clutch from CES or the DKM from ECS (I'm guessing these are the same clutch kit?) I don't actually know how much hp/tq I'm making but those are rated for much more than I could ever make soo... The only issue is I can't find anything about anyone running one... Don't really want to be the Ginnie pig here haha. Anyone have any experience?
Also if anyone wants to take any guesses on what they think the car is really making. The setup is in my signature and it's running 14.5 PSI with the 12cm hot side and 8 blade compressor. If you ignore the crappy launch and reaction time you can see how hard it starts to pull on a 5.0 Mustang at the 1/8th. This wasn't the cars best time that night either, it managed a 12.87 with a 2.2 60 foot... and the fastest trap speed was 114.36 (again clutch slipping fairly bad in 2nd and 3rd though)

I just don't think I believe what the dyno said at 12 lbs of boost. The way it says power dropped off so hard at the top but yet the car just pulls harder up there makes me believe it was very possibly the clutch slipping if not slick worn out dyno rollers.

I'm gonna say that Competition Clutch and DKM are both the same company since they both have headquarters in Conyers Georgia. But I am curious why pictures of the CC one have a Sachs pressure plate and the DKM ones say DKM.
