Can anyone tell me why my 645ci will start good drives great for days no codes. Then out off nowhere it will cut off and won't start for hours. It will say transmission failure drives with caution. And 5 other codes the next day no codes the car will run for a week or so then the same thing again. I took it to bmw for diagnostic they come up with nothing. I'm so frustrated I want to enjoy my car I'm paying for. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forum.
If you'll tell us the actual code descriptions given by the car's computers when it was scanned at the dealership, we might have enough information to direct you. The little pop-up screens on the I-Drive are only warnings that you need to get to a BMW shop, and have the codes read. Without those codes, there's no way to know what's wrong.

The first step in diagnosing a problem is to scan the engine computer (DME) and the transmission computer (EGS) for codes. You need to find a reputable indie shop that specializes in bimmers. Try www.bimrs.org.
I would look into the ivm module, when they act up they don't set any faults
