My wife and I looked at a 2015 435 Gran Sport with sport seats. The power seat adjustment surprised us as the seat pan would tilt - - the front of the seat pan would move up and down; however, the entire seat would not move up and down (the rear part of the seat pan did not go up). Yes, as the seat was moved forward, the entire seat did move up as well, but in some other cars the entire seat can be adjusted up, including the rear part of the seat pan. The salesman couldn't get it to adjust either. My wife is just under 5 feet tall so this is important adjustment for us. Is this a common issue with the 4 series? Do other model years have a seat that fully adjusts so entire seat moves up and down? Thanks much for your help, new member here....
New member, also. Here's how the sport seats work on my 2015 F32. With the switch that moves the seat forward and backward, if you lift both ends up, the seat goes up; both ends down and the seat goes down; front end up and rear end down and the seat front tilts up; front end down and rear end up and the rear of the seat tilts up. I'm guessing there was something wrong with the car you looked at. I wonder how the passenger seat worked on that car.
