    New 318i in town

I’m the proud owner of an e21 318i calling from Spain.

Been into classics many years, have had Triumph, MGB, Porsches, various Mercedes and a couple of youngtimers Jags, still keep a Volvo 240 and a Superbeetle but never had a BMW as a classic before (dream about a 507 from time to time though)

My new car is in very good shape and I pretend to keep it like that. Shall use it for some weekend routes and maybe some classic rallying.
She isnt very powerful, just 105 cv, but revs up quite happily and has a brisky acceleration for a M10. Is a manual 5 gears so cruising is relaxed and not that expensive on petrol

Up until recently i considered this earlier 3 series just old cars with not a lot of classic potential due to zillions produced. But that shaknose and petite dimensions had made a change on my perception and now i really like the beast.

Hopefully I’ll learn more about this beauty in this forum. Thanks in advance for your help ladies & gentlemen

PS I’ll post some pics as soon as i learn how to

For the ones with a good eye, how lowered you think the car is?
I only know that it has lower springs but no idea about its brand or size.
Goes well over speed bumps but thrashes mid exhaust exiting garage ramps.

    Thanks for the compliments Jaredmac
