Brake Pedal Squeal

I have an 02' 330 ci that has an annoying squeal when the brakes are applied. The squeal seems to be coming from the area behind the pedal. I am assuming it is a vacuum leak/brake booster issue. Any insight on what it is and how it can be fixed.

Sounds like the noise could be the brake booster with a vacuum leak.

To verify you could smoke check it thru the brake booster check valve hole

Is it a high pitch squeal? If so then its a brake booster vacuum leak.
