Hey guys got ticking noise in engine, passenger side valve cover with error code p0011. help please.
just hit 150000 miles
Not to pass on bad news, but search on timing chain guides to see what you're possibly up against.
I would strongly urge you to NOT drive your car until you can find out more of what's going on (or risk further (expensive) damage to your engine).
The only sure way to know if error code & ticking sounds are the TCGs is to drop the oil pan & look for bits of chain guide material.
If it is the TCGs breaking up, you run the real risk of the timing chain coming loose & jumping a tooth or two. When that happens, it's very possible for the pistons to hit the valves & causing some major engine damage.
Hope that's not the issue here, but you are exactly in that mileage range where the guides give up.

Noise and that code is pretty much a no doubter. Guides. Don't run the car.
That code and noise is how I bought mine. Almost finished the chains and guides and 1000 of other parts.

dang. what swap you guys suggest? which engine can i put. not same M62TU..........
Swapping in anything other than an M62tu will cost a lot and require a considerable amount of skill. Swapping in another M62tu merely prolongs the issue. If your engine still runs fine, I would rebuild it and continue enjoying it for the next 150,000 miles. The chain guide replacement job is not as hard as people think it might be... but then again I'm biased as I have 16 guide jobs under my belt at this point, and am currently working on #17 and #18 at my shop.
