    Question Wind Deflector locked in upright position - how to lower?

    I've not had problems lowing the wind deflector, but now its locked in the upright position. I can't see any buttons or things to release it. Its a stock BMW wind deflector for a 97 Cabriolet.

    The vertical part of the assembly does not lock. It should just fold towards the rear.

    I asked support at Lovethedrive and was told to push harder on it. I did and it worked. I sprayed some WD-40 in the mechanism.
