Bmw 5 series 520d m sport touring not starting!!!!

Hello,

firstly i would like to say hello to everyone on here as this is the first time i have resorted to a forum for help so apologies if this is not the right thing to do.

I have a 5 series 520d that was driving fine with no problems, however when i pulled into my road the thing just stopped and would not restart (cranks over just fine). from there i got the RAC to look at it they firstly told me it was due to the egr i didn't quite believe this but i had a spare in the garage so i fitted it. (still not working)

i then got the RAC to look at again and they said that it was a fuel issue and i had very little fuel pressure however i did have lots of pre pump pressure, i was advised to change the fuel pressure regulator as he believed it was draining all the pressure back to the tank and the cheeper option then replacing the HP pump (which he says he thinks is ok), which was done and still not working.

the car will choke a little on easy start but won't stay started, i have also cracked off each injector and I'm getting fuel there. i have checked every connection i can see and there all ok fuses too.

the first time the RAC came out they pulled a code 4590 (rail pressure monitoring delivery deviation) however this wasn't mentioned the 2nd time.

i am lost with what to do with it now and really need some guidance.
