And the dash clock isnt working well maybe need some work there...
Price?
$8,766 us dllr
Some pictures...
And... will it be an awesome daily project car??? or better run out.
I would definitely like this car.. Should be seriously fast also, 343 HP, very rev-happy engine, manual transmission, in the light 323ti chassis..
If the car and engine are in good shape, then it isn't expensive, as it's virtually impossible to build a project like that for that price.
You'd need to buy a good chassis, do the needed upgrades, and buy the S54 engine ($$) and make sure it works in the E36 chassis.
If it really doesn't feel fast ("fast" is very subjective though), then it would be good to do some tests on the engines and perhaps a dyno. The S54 engine is the most expensive part of this car, so it had better be in top shape.
It should be a lot faster than the 2008 WRX as it has way more horses and the car weighs less.. The WRX will have more torque down below though, due to the turbo.

1997 E36 BMW 323i (European) 275k km (171k miles), with following small mods:
- Chip tuned DME (190HP/257Nm); 328i dual pipe exhaust (plug&play); Meyle HD control arms, Bilstein B4 shocks
- Fan delete mod: Stock 92C thermostat, 80/88C temp. switch, 80/20% water/coolant; INPA says temps 100% OK
- Throttle body coolant hose delete mod; Comprehensive ASC Delete option list; Solved: -30 additive adaptation values
If he beat on the car then the crank bearings might be toast, I don't know if that effects power or not. but something to consider.
