Hey all,
So I recently tried installing a few new bushings and parts on my 325i to reduce slop and make the shifter a little nicer. This is on a 95' 325i, however, I manual swapped it from another car, so it has a getrag 225 from what I think was a 328i.
However, after installing the new parts, the whole shift pattern has moved right significantly, to where it barely gets into 5th before hitting the trim pieces.
I'm wondering if some of the washers were installed wrong, or if I purchased the wrong parts, here they are:

The last part, the shift lever bushing, was for sure incorrect, as I ordered the ovalised one instead of the round one, but the other two went on fine and with no issues.
Any thoughts on why this is happening? Any and all help would be great
Your shift lever is backwards. Weve all done it. Just rotate it 180 degrees.

Nah but that's the thing, I made sure to check and see if it was rotated 180 before posting, and it for sure is the right direction. When I rotated it, it wouldn't shift into second or fourth because it was also hitting the trim.
