FIRST POST! HELP
Ok. I know there is a lot of brake stuff on here but i cant seem to find this answer.
I have brake trifecta, no speedo, no odo. I used INPA to diagnose two issues;
(1) the ABS control module was bad because INPA could not even communicate with it. upon inspection the housing was cracked and water infiltrated and oxidized the interior components. A used ABS module has been installed and INPA communicates with it well. I can turn the pump on and the status is "OKAY" in system check. I am planning on reprogramming the VIN using WINkfp but cannot figure out the ZUSB for the ABS module (another place I need help!)
(2) the two rear wheel speed sensors were not responding when watched in INPA. I bought OEM sensors and replaced both. Now, the rear passenger side is showing in INPA when moving, but rear left (spedo controller wheel of COURSE!) is still not showing in INPA. I cleaned all the wires and ive reinstalled several times. I know you can check the ABS sensor if its detecting the rotation using a DMM - which i have - but how the hell can you hold that thing on those pins and spin the tire!?!?!?
Questions;
(1) I am wondering if the lead wires to this driver side rear ABS sensor has been compromised somewhere along the way? I followed it in to the body but then is is lost in bundles. can anyone help me "follow" the path of the lead wires or suggest locations where the wire might be compromised?
(2) would a used ABS module with a different vin in the computer cause the speed sensor on the rear wheel not to work? Meaning, maybe everything on the sensor is fine but since the ABS control module os not reprogrammed with the right vin that it is not sending speed sensor info?
please help! Ill buy you a beer!

Use a digital meter to check continuity between the left rear sensor connector and the connector at the other end.
The ABS/DSC module in your specific chassis is not flashable with WinKFP, nor any other software.
It simply needs coding (NCSExpert) and sensor calibrations then you're good to go.
The wheel speed sensor should still be showing up though.

Swap the rear passenger and driver sensor to see if the issue follows the sensor.
