Selling a basically new Clutch Master fx850 twin disk clutch with aluminum flywheel and their sintered iron disk option that is not listed on their website or offered as an “off the shelf” option.

The sintered iron disk option was around $200 extra (I’ll try and remember to call them tomorrow during business hours to confirm).

This setup with sintered iron disks is rated to hold over 1,000wtrq. Their techs were concerned about their street and race options holding anything over 750-800wtrq with any certainty so they recommended sintered iron.

I installed this setup on a built s52 with the idea of breaking it in n/a before embarking on a twin turbo build but sadly the motor had a nearly dead cylinder due to a slightly bent valve and the whole project has been torn down.

I drove the car twice, once pulling it out of the shop and another time for about a mile down the street trying to troubleshoot the issue before doing a compression test and confirming my worst fears.

So here’s your chance at a basically brand new twin disk setup that will literally hold anything you could ever possibly throw at it while still being well mannered enough to drive on the street. (Much more drivable than the cm fx725 I had in a previous build).

This is designed for an i6 e36 running a zf310 or zf320 5 spd manual trans but will fit many other cars/ motors. You can also have Clutch Master re-spline the disks for a Getrag 420g as well if that’s what you’re running.

The street and race versions of this retail for $2100 plus another $200ish for the sintered iron disks.
