Looking to by two sets of DJ Auto headlights (base model no angel eyes or anything preinstalled) one to leave halogen one to retrofit, but only place that claims to have them is bavtoys. They don’t tell you if they’re in stock and I don’t want to deal with trying to get my money back if they’re not. Anyone know of any other sources to buy from?
Man e36s are getting old and you can really feel it when you try and find certain items nowadays, owning three of them I’m constantly searching for something that isn’t readily available anymore. Once they hit importable age, 23yrs old I think, do the dealerships remove lockout status on euro parts to US cars? Much rather just by euro lights through my sister who works for a dealership...
Thanks
From what I’ve been able to find there have not been any DJ Autos in stock at any of the more popular retail sites. Depos work just fine and I’ve personally been satisfied with their products. If you want Euro just buy used or off Schmeidmann which you can get new OE still

It’s looking like depos are the most reasonable option now, I like the outer lens on the DJ autos better, I know there are shipping containers full of em somewhere... Oh well
May have the DJ auto in stock. Been around for a long time - https://www.umnitza.com/dj-auto-elli...h-options.html
Or stock Euro Bosch replacement https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-E...ct=63121387041
DJ Auto's aren't nice enough to pay an extra $120 for.
The euro Bosch are the best choice besides ZKW, and the Bosch are $185 per side, so that puts them or used ZKW's in the same price range.
So really it's how much you want to spend, if availability on the nicer ones isn't an obstacle for your choice...
