TPMS on used OEM wheels / tires

    Hi,

    2015 335i here.

Not familiar with how TPMS works, but if i were to replace my wheels / tires with an OE set from another BMW, do i need to tranfer my TPMS sensors over so the car can read it?

...or get new compatible TPMS sensors and initialize/pair them to your car with a reset.

You may, it depends on the year for the other car that has the sensors being swapped to yours. If memory serves correctly they changed the TPMS sensors in roughly 2009. If you are swapping from a 2011 or newer they should be able to be reinitialized on your 2015. Meaning you don't have to move your 2015 sensors over to the donor OE wheels...
