I recently swapped my motor because the head gasket blew, it was a cheaper route and I have a motor to fully rebuild out of the car now. But for the mean time I got everything back together I threw the motor on with the converter attached, and I drove it up my ramps in my uphill driveway just fine to wash the motor, but now it will not move in gear it will just rev. When I shift the revs move a little, I revved it up the other day to around 3k and failsafe came on I shut it off. Decided to see if someone can give me their opinion on if the torque converter didn’t seat properly or I got something wet that should get wet. Before I take everything apart again and push it up my driveway into my garage. And if not properly seated can I unbolt the torque converter from motor and use a pry bar to push it on the tranny?
