How to install a trunk lip onto pretty much any BMW model. The example is a BMW F30. Purchased the performance trunk lip spoiler from Ikon Motorsports on eBay for approximately $86 shipped.
Tool required:
- Box cutter/scissors/blade (required)
- Rubbing alcohol (optional)
- Paper towel/microfiber towel
- Painters tape (optional)

Great vid. It is a relatively easy install.
Question though, does the tape hold well over time? My last 2 installs, I used "Betalink K1 Adhesive". It is supposed to be better but a bit messy.

Hey, thanks man. I saw you replied on f30post to the guys thread about the OEM lip. I used the standard 3M double sided tape on my old E46 and my dads E39 with them being on the car for 9 years with zero issues and stuck on extremely well. I think as long as you prep the surface thoroughly you'll be set.
