Has anyone replaced a compressor on a 06 BMW 330i series and still no cold air? All the tests were performed on the compressor it is working now they're thinking the coil? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
It's my understanding the newer compressors don't work the same as the old style like on my 01 525. On mine you hit the ac button the clutch engages compressor turns. The newer style I believe is basically always on and if yours is that type new compressors can be damage if the correct procedures are not used on the initial start up. I would take it to a shop have them look at it.

Did they add the correct amount of refrigerant back after replacing the compressor?
