Hey guys, I did a complete r134a conversion and replaced literally everything.
I got a Sanden 508 compressor. It has 1 wire connection coming out of it and looks like it could plug into one of the holes in my m20b25 connection (pictures included). Do I just plug it in or am I supposed to take the old wire harness from my old compressor and use that?
Unrelated note, I had used a bracket with heavy modification and no tensioning capability. How should I get a belt on tensioned? Thinking about just a shorter belt and removing the pulley to get the belt on. Any input?

you can put a meter on the outputs from the car and see which one is hot and then compare the wire it plugs into to make sure it doesn't go to ground. or plug it in and see what happens.
can you slot the mount and make it so you can have tensioning capabilities?
No e30s again.
honestly i dont even know what that this plug attached to the compressor does lol it only has 1 so i assume its not a ground. im going to plug it in and see what happens tomorrow!
and no on the mount because theres no room I'm going to try to find a smaller belt and remove the pull to try to get in there. ill let you know how it works hhahaha
Where did you find a bracket that would work with a Sanden 508 compressor?
I used a york to sanden universal compressor. It will need to be modified a lot and will not have any tensioning capabilities. I had to use a shorter belt (about 31 inches) to get it right.
If I were to try again I think I would try the bracket I attached to this reply. It really looks like it would fit better with less modification AND there would be tensioning capabilities, but I really do not know. I'm not going to take everything out and try again lol
Ok thanks for the info!
