2010 535I X drive with stock exhaust has 2 exit tips on the left side. the left tip has pressure coming out and appears to be the muffler. The right tip looks like it is hooked to a square I assume muffler but has no pressure coming out. Whats going on?
the 535i has a valve on the exhaust to reduce sound until the engine is at higher rpms, then the other tip can breathe and makes the exhaust a little louder
Thanks. I was just wondering. I Am still chasing the limp mode problem, still checking all hoses and crossover pipe for cracks and turbo diverter valves.

Just wondering if it will still pass inspection since it does not come on unless you get on it.
The ECM needs to have “ready” code(s) in place to pass OBDII interrogation.…and those may not be in place IF you can ‘throw’ a CE light and initiate “limp mode” on demand.

Have you checked the codes that are causing the limp mode?
I have not gotten a specific bmw code reader yet. My OBD2 code reader will pull any up.
