    Radiator leaks

    Good day all,

Just recently discovered that my radiator is leaking from the plastic pipe opening part on the top (driver side) where the hose clamps onto. does anyone know if that can be repaired or is it just too risky to repair. You may email me at emailittoz at yahoo.

I appreciate your comments and recommendations.

Just replace it. New radiators are relatively inexpensive, and easy to replace. And if your plastic is starting to break/crack, it is only time until something breaks off. You DO NOT want that to happen - especially if you are driving.

Maybe check out Zionsville. Custom radiators made of metal.

BMW radiators are cheap/disposable because they have plastic tanks. You can't repair them, that is why they are disposable. If you plan to keep your car long term check out Zionsville. If you just want to replace a cheap part with another cheap part, and the are still kind of expensive, get a another BMW radiator.
