Does anybody know if I could run one mm larger intake valves, with cutting the stock seat? Apparently supertech is backordered on the standard size intake valves. But I can get one mm larger, 34 instead of 33 mm. The machine shop has the head right now.

You can run +1mm valves but the benefits are limited due to shrouding unless very good port work is done. I run +1mm intake and exhaust, with a very expensive head that had major port work done (through CES in NC).
The only reason I'm considering 1 mm larger intake valves, it's because I don't want to wait another month and a half or longer to get a good set of valves. I wasn't sure if the stock valve seats had enough material, to be cut out for the larger valves?

I don’t know the answer to that.
The machine shop said that there is enough material in the valve seat, to go 1 mm larger valves.
Unfortunately everything is backordered. I even tried vac Motorsports. They are out of stock. I guess they all get there Raw forgings from the same place in China.?
Is there any other place I can get a good set of valves from?

There are others but I cannot recall names or costs. Maybe Ferrea, maybe Schrick.
Finally got the head back from the Machine Shop. Still waiting on the Block and crank. .006. Taking off to make it straight.

I have the super tech valve springs retainers and keepers. And bought Ferrea valves.

The block was decked, line bore, with ARP Hardware installed, bore and hone for the CP Pistons.
Crank is being cut and Polished to fit. - .25mm . Plus oil clearance. Using ACL race bearings, Eagle rods.
Hopefully I will get it back in the next couple weeks.

In the meantime, I'm trying to finish up the back of the car before I put the half cage in. Upgrade fuel pump, an 6 bulkhead fittings, PTFE lines so I could run E85.
Going to do a little more reinforcing the trailing arm pockets.
And try the SLR Roll center correction kit. Not sure if I will like it. I've kind of gotten used to the bump steer. But I might like they're really quick ratio.

And the plan is to upgrade to the 2.3 l TVS supercharger. Might even jump right to the twin screw.

Awesome . You sort out tuning ?

Interest on a Very Budget Supercharger Build??
Should have called this the , building my 93 325is , thread..
I installed the new engine and have it up and running. Other than some Vanos rattle problems, it runs really strong. And of course back to finding a tuner once again.
While I had the engine out, and gas tank, I welded in trailing arm reinforcement plate, and a little extra reinforcement connecting the trailing arm Pockets to the rear section of the car.
Replaced the front subframe with a reinforced unit. And added some front frame rail to door still reinforcement plate. And installed Roll center correction kit.
Upgraded the upper radiator hose from the flexible one. Also installed the Kirk racing four point roll cage. Work very well with the reinforcement plate. And installed some halfway decent race seats that keep me from sliding around. Was trying to find something that would match the interior and instead of going with the typical black, or red.
Still trying to find some decently priced 5 or 6 point harnesses. Racequip 751001 ? Apparently they come with a five-year certification and meet all the scca regulations. I don't want to buy a cheap set that I will have to replace in a year because they expired.

Still have a few more details to straighten out. Going to redo the injector harness. And maybe figure out how to put those side panels on either side of the rear seat. I know with the roll cage the rear seat is pretty much useless. But it still gives some Street appeal. That and I still have AC

Go to Kassel, or 22rp. Kassel is in PA not a far drive, and they can tune the setup you have.

how many hp more than stock are you making now?
And a little update, on the SLR Roll center correction kit. I love it did not get an alignment yet, but bump steer is completely gone. I can even break hard on a somewhat bumpy road, and it will stop dead on straight. The steering ratio almost feels like a go kart. Yeah it's not so sensitive that it makes the car Hard to Handle at high speeds.
