I have a 91 BMW 850i 6 Speed and it is doing the following:
when I press the accelerator "normally", the car jerks as if it wants to stall but take off at the same time. If I ease into the throttle "really slowly" then it will either drive normally or it will go into limp mode without a check engine light.
I have completed the following replacement(s) or rebuild(s):
New*
BMW fuel pump
BMW fuel filters
BMW fuel pressure regulators
BMW ignition coils 2x
BMW ignition wires to coil 2x
BMW spark plug wires 2x
schmiedmann MAF 2x
BMW crank position sensors 2x
BMW fuel pressure regulator relays 2x [DME box (lime green color relay)]
BMW engine relays [DME box (white relay)]
BMW batteries 800 CCA AMG 2x
* rebuilt and verified working my original DK's
new spark plugs (BRK6EK)
all of these items were replace together
Each time I unplugged the batteries for more than 3 hours, I would complete the DK sync by doing the engine warm up, 5k to idle 3x & a 5 minute wait. This does synchronize the DKs but does not stop the jerking. If I floor it through the jerking, then sometimes it will stall at idle (unless I pop the clutch) or it will return to limp mode without a check engine light.
I have DIS v39, 44 & something else to use. I also have INPA (haven't used) and some other programs.
*note*
- I might have left something I have replaced out, as I am not currently by the car.

Check to make sure the connectors underneath the oil overflow scupper are clean to insure that both CPS and tone generators are making solid connection.

I read the title as 'jerking off while driving'.
Carry on.
