So long story short, my expansion tank broke and put about 6 cups of water in my car to just get me home. (I know, it’s supposed to be distilled but I didn’t have it. car didn’t over heat). So point is now that I put the new tank on I believe I put more distilled water than bmw coolant. Could this be a problem or should I be fine? Or take out about 2 cups and put concentrated coolant? Thanks!

Just drain the entire system and add new coils to be safe

Or get a coolant tester, around 3 bucks, and check its boiling and freezing points. A little too much water will not hurt it, unless its juat plain water, which can freeze or cause corrotion

can you test the coolant with a regular ethylene glycol tester? its blue not the bright green coolant....the old school testers still work?
