Hey all, i have a 2003 540ia M sport for sale. I purchased this car last year in hopes to make this my dd. Well plans have changed, and i'm looking to get into a E46 for the future purpose of making it a spec e46 car. This E39 is pretty clean inside and out. It has a clean carfax, and I have done some recent maintenance. I recently replaced the fuel pump, coolant expansion tank, oil change, rear brakes, and had a total transmission fluid change. The car has 178k miles and going up slowly daily. It's silver with grey interior. Asking price SOLD obo. Email or Pm me for interior pics.

When i purchased the car, the prior owner said it was done... I'm not sure if it has or not, but the motor is extremely quiet... So...

Lol! No its not. Truth be told is I start this car and drive it weekly to keep it up, and every time I drive it I want to keep it. If you've ever owned a 540 M sport you know what I mean. I don't HAVE to sell it, but my wife is nagging me about doing something with it. I am more into HPDE rigth now than having this as a project car. So I have just been procrastinating about selling it for a long time now.

Don't get me wrong, it has a few basic items that need addressing... Small valve cover drip, window tint needs a redo, suspension could use some attention. Nothing big such as engine or drivetrain. Just some tlc stuff. Which is why this is priced accordingly.

Im guessing the timing chain and guides haven't been touched on this car yet?
If I didn't have a loan on my Camry I'd sell it immediately and pick this up as a daily driver! Good luck!

Honestly I am not 100% sure if they have or not. The dealer stated the previous owner did the guides, but no proof. I can say however that there isn't any timing chain noises what so ever...
