Yea, that's the only body damage it has. Bought it like that. That is definitely at the top of my list for repair/replacement. She only has a hundred and two k on the odometer. I'm the second owner.

Those trims are black plastic all the way through so that white scuff is transferred from whatever it rubbed against. I'll speculate that it's latex house paint from the side of a garage door opening. If so it will come off very easily with WD40, Goof-Off, etc.
I'm curious to know how much one needs to pay for such an example in your neck of the woods.

I paid 3800 for it, if that was what you were asking. Thank you for the tip on cleaning up the white scrapeage. The reason I jumped on the deal was because the owners brother was just putting it up for sale at wheels and deals for his sister. The stack of service/maintenance records from the bmw dealer was a nice plus as well. It was obviously never abused and looks like it was garaged for most of it's life. I really feel lucky to have stumbled upon such a great deal. No leaking anywhere and the underside looks almost brand new.

My favorite color for the E34, Alpine White (that is my car's color also). The scuffed bumper plastic is cheap, see it all the time in salvage yards in nice shape. Nice purchase. Bumper and trim paint will also work nicely, goes on easy, dries to a matte finish (Plasti Kote or SEM).
