1982 320i Feeler F/S with parts car.

I have a 1982 320i with only 87k on it. Body is straight (absolutely NO RUST) , doors close perfectly, black interior is mint, with perfect carpet (no stains or wear). Needs Paint. Spun a rod bearing so motor is probably toast , but i have a parts car with only 110k with a perfectly fine m10 and a tight 5-speed. Both cars have LSDs. Came here to see if any potential buyers. If not, suggest a price for both cars so i can put on craigslist. The car also has new H&R with billy sports (less than 1000 miles on em), and all new front end bushings.

I dont really know how to put pictures, but i can give the most thorough description of the car. A list of what i put in the car:

• H&R 1" lowering
• Bilstein sports
• New Meyle HD control arms
• New Lemforder tie rod ends
• New muffler
• Aftermarket radio

Pros:

• Car is absolutely rot free. Tiny spot of surface rust in spare tire, but that could be ground down and painted.
• Interior with exception of the dash is perfect (no tears, stains, wear, or anything.) Door card vinyl has no separation from the card itself which is very common.
• HVAC panel has no cracks.
• Had a working a/c but was drained after disconnecting the belt.
• Body is straight with perfectly closing panels all around (no door clunks, no squeaks or screeches, the hood springs up beautifully like it did from factory)
• All the glass is matching original and in great condition, but the windshield has a chip in it.
• Car has no water leaks, but will need a new windshield and gasket.
• Comes with 2 LSDs and a 5 speed swap and another m10.
• All electrical components work.

Cons

• Car was bought with a high-schoolers paint job. (flat black, with some overspray)
• Small dent on roof and small dent on front right of the hood (easily pullable)
• And motor is good for about 1-2k more miles.

Looks clean! I'd say $2.5-3k is a fair asking price as a bundle. Is the parts car a 320IS? If so then more like $3.5K because of the sport seats etc.

I dont think he has a IS. If so it would not have a badge on the trunk and also have a different tool kit.

I am looking for a shell but dont need two just the clean one.

If you decide to part it out which would be a shame I need a hood, trunk and a driver's side fender. As well as other smaller parts. I can pick up.

I never see myself parting it out. The shell itself is just too clean to do that. If the underbody had any rust i wouldn't hesitate. But like i said there is no rust on the underbody.
