New Compact Owner

Hello, I'm mark and new to the forum. I recently bought this E46 compact, its the 1.8ti se manual model with a very clean shell, no rust! So a good starting point i think. The bumpers need a repaint and the bonnet needs to be repaired or changed, I will go for the latter i expect. Also looks like some one has had a good time colour coding the trims etc.

Its covered 116k miles, has the usual oil leak/s and had a misfire which turned out to be just a spark plug thankfully.

I am toying with the idea of a m54b30 / m54b25 conversion because in its current form its very mundane, which i knew it would be being a non turbo 1.8. The swap is straigh forward and is done to death so pretty much a proven mod with a lot of info so i shouldn't have an issue. I do all my own work
