    2007 BMW X5 6HP28x BAD SHIFTING

    Hello.

I bought a BMW x5 for my wife. its a 2007 X5 4.8i with a 6HP28x transmission. Getting very bad shifting when car warms up. I replaced shift solenoids, new machtronics gasket, valve body gaskets, filter and transmission fluid and still getting bad shifts. Starting to lose hope. Any ideas?

I was reading up on this code and noticed others cleaned/replaced Vanos (Vanous) solenoid and that fixed the transmission shift issue.

Can anyone shed some light on the function of a Vanos valve related to transmission shifting.

Would it help if i replace transfer case oil too?

It would be nice to know what the shift adaptation numbers are the max is 300, but with trans problems you can see 750, not good. Did you reset the adaptations after the trans work.
