Man, you've been all over the place in the last couple of posts - something is obviously bugging you bad. Let's air it out and see what truth we can find. BTW, I'm a serial British car owner (still have two Jags and a Triumph) so all I can say is Viva the MGA Twin Cam!
Theres no use, he doesn't listen.
You should seriously lay off the drugs before posting. I have no F'N clue as to what you are writing.

You're right, BMW's are a trap, and for a good reason: once you drive/own one of them you are usually hooked and keep fixing, driving and buying them no matter how many things break and no matter how sensitive they are. Another thing you might want to consider is that the reason things tend to break "a lot" on them is that few other marques attract buyers for used cars that are 10, 15, 20, 30 year+ old. They are still cars (usually driven harder than the average car AND a bit over-sophisticated: hence the fact that you get from a 3.0l 6 cyl the same gas mileage as from your average 2.0l 4 banger), not mechas, so maybe they're allowed to get tired from time to time

These cars are only expensive if you pay someone else to work on them that only uses BMW branded parts. If you can do almost every repair or maintenance item yourself and shop around for quality OE parts, they are no more expensive than a Honda.
