The drama, the drama that what been missing. I miss my morning laugh out loud. The best response posts are always on "My car died, what can it be" postings w/no details. Followed by: "Oh, can you tell me what part I should bolt on that is cheap to fix XXX?"

Or the broken record threads in which, suddenly the little brats that grew up with the interwebs, google and all that crap at their fingertips, come on and ask the same usual questions, not like these old cars are gonna puke up a new problem that nobody else ever heard of... Suddenly, all internet skills and modern crap born into, out of the blue, vapor lock.... brain system suddenly needs a free feeding, give them a snide answer and the vajayjay suddenly dries up, TILT!!! Hit the report button! Imagine these breast feeders growing up with no interwebs, they’d be doomed....

You're back because TO's expire.
The net of the issue is you're bad for business. This is a business. Your cranky bit drives people away. We have plenty of people with your knowledge who can help, and are better able to pull off the grumpy thing without falling outside the basic rules that govern this place.
I know and love plenty of curmudgeons. If you can find and respect the lines, I'd be happy for you to stay. If you can't, you're going to be gone for good.
(since you seem to want to debate it publicly, I'm responding publicly. I'd mention that this isn't an invitation or excuse to ignore the rules.)
And the last vacation that you just tossed my way, did you even read the rant??? I bet you did not, why don’t you repost it, you want to debate it? Post it. Let’s see what others have to say. You were real quick to send me off, that rant wasn’t even that bad at all. Really, I wanted to see which one of you would over react. C’mon, you know very well, both you and Squeezwizz have been on me like two flies on a cow pie. Really not surprised you’re on here giving me a hard time right now.
What is is it with you two anyways??? Have you even read the crap over on the E36 pages??? Jeezuz Christ, those guys make these pages look like we’re on Sesame Street. I don’t see you harassing them. Why don’t you go mess with those weirdos? Scared, probably.

For What it's worth I have had some dealings with Snotty and he was straight up and a very stand up guy. He is A OK in my book.
Yeah... The (IN)consistency between subforii is maddening. Effbombers and whatnot and STFU type back and forth interactions etc are apparently fine on some sections, but somebody told the E39-mod-trainer that all the E39’rs are delicate old farts with nervous conditions who are easily startled by loud noises and sailor language I guess. Is what it is.
I do understand it’s a fine line, there are toxic car boards where you can’t get any quality discussion going because of the constant bickering and insults and whatnot so that’s obv what is being avoided, but I also have been on other boards where the fine line is much better tiptoed. For instance on one of my fave old boards it’s not that you CANT drop an FBomb , you just need it to be judicious and called for. An occasional “this effin car is going to make my brain explode” for instance, totally fine. Constant effers every other sentence, or especially “yer an effin moron” , unacceptable. But walking a fine line takes more effort, and is harder for idiots to understand and absorb... so, extreme rules are the easy route.

BTW, on some other boards “uncalled for use of the Abuse/Report button is itself an infraction” is a GREAT rule that BimFo could do to adopt. We def see guys playing games with button abuse.

It’s just goofy that they let the E36 guys go at it the way they do, and we have to be nice. Nice is ok, to a point, then it gets boring. Why the double standards? But I’ll play nice, told Jimbo that I would, for him and all the cool guys on here, I’ll be nice. Screw all the morons that like to cry, they can get help from others, I’m done feeding them.

I just want to add that I've also dealt with Snotty and met him offline and I agree that he is a very standup guy and definitely has an "interesting" sense of humor. Maybe that doesn't always come across on the forums, but I think once people know him, they get it and it's all good.

I put his humor out there with GG's. Tired of the non searchers and the people wanting free handouts in life. It's annoying as hell and I came from that industry, and nothing worse than a customer who always second guesses your work and keeps you running around in circles. I mean hey, I'll keep billing the labor hours, you're the boss lmao

Haha! First of all, Stephen and Mark are both Bimmer nuts of another caliber!!! WoW man! Great afternoon hanging out with these guys! Mark’s X5 is an awesome well kept example of how these cars should be cared for, Stephen’s M5 is a freakin time capsule from the day it was extruded out of the plant! The car is like brand new!!! His wife’s 528, same thing, immaculate, the wagon, need I say more?

Thanks for coming by. It is always nice to have someone who has actually popped an electrical connector before to show how it is done. It seemed we also solved the world's problems too! Thanks for the comments on the family of E39's here at my place. All cars CLEAN and detailed is my normal process. Most people don't get the idea of a towel on top of the floor mats to keep everything fresh. Just shake out and thrown it in the wash with the dog towels, presto, clean and fresh once again. Mats always look "just vacuumed". Can't stand driving dirty cars. It is made easy with everyone on the same page.
