My car won’t crank when i turn the key. every time i turn the key i hear one click coming from the engine bay. the dash light and head lights all come on like usual. I had a bad starter that i got replace with a new one a couple months ago at a shop. any thoughts on what my problem might be?
at first i would have this problem every now and then. i turned my key no crank, then tried again and it would be good.
If the battery/voltage is good, maybe a ground issue.
your battery is good? lights will come on with a low or bad battery
No e30s again.
I would start with checking if the nut that holds the wiring to the starter is tight.
I've had intermittent starting issue that got worse over time due to that. Clicking, but not always starting. I was sure my starter was at fault, but luckily it was this simple nut that worked itself loose.
yeah i was told my battery, starter and alternator was all good

i’ll look into this is there any other small possible fixes like this i should check out as well? i’ve seen a post where this dude had a similar problem but it was cuz his ignition was unplugged or something of that nature
especially on the battery end of the wires and clamps. corrosion builds up between the clamp and the battery post and will cause it to not start. just take them off and wire brush both wire clamps and the battery posts
No e30s again.

gas, like fuel gas? where?
No e30s again.
When you jumped the car, did you attach the jumper cables to the battery posts? If yes, then you probably have a bad battery or corrosion or a loose connection on your battery posts.
Sounds like you have a new priority :/
