    Cylinder Head Cleaning

    For the DIYers out there.

How do you guys clean aluminum cylinder head? especially the exhaust side and also around the valve seats.

I've heard of sitting it in Simple Green and hot water for some time. Light buffing with some white 3M Rolocs, carb cleaner (tough, but can be done), lacquer thinner, diesel.

Or would the best way be to just soda blast it?

    What's your process?

    Most things are DIY,
Some things are best left to a shop,
This is one of those somethings.
