    E39 Touring Cell Antenna delete

So I'm halfway through cleaning up a bad roof paint job. Got Macco'd over failing black paint. Rail are off and headliner out as I'm close to finishing a conversion from a beige to a black interior. I haven't yet decided to roof rail or go with a slick roof but that silly little cell antenna needs to go either way. Has anyone found a good clean looking plug for that hole? Realoem wasn't any help.

    Thanks

The rubber seals on my antenna are rotting away, been thinking about this too, I saved a fin antenna cover from an Audi TT, might use that to get rid of the old antenna.

I would think a generic black plug might be your only option. I swaped mine for a BMW E30 M3 style antenna.
I used it with a Dynavin N7 deck. The factory antenna set up is amplified IIRC so your pretty limited in choices with a factory stereo.

Nice! Sounds like our cars are quite similar these days. Look forward to seeing these updates.
