I have a 2016 340i msport, with the full adaptive LED lighting package. I do not have front foglights at all.
I'm moving to Belgium, and I've already prepped/modded my rear foglight switch, and have an appt to get that coded in under 2 days to be legal. (As well as the euro gps maps too)
The thought occured to me..... "I wonder if the wires are already run to the front, and installing a set of front LED foglights (and grill surrounds) would be just as easy?"
I haven't torn my car apart... but does anyone know if the wires are already run in my car? Can I just pop in a set of fogs/grills, trim the switch so it works, and then get it coded as well?

Get her up on a lift or crawl underneath the bumper and check if it's pre-wired for fogs.
They should be easy to spot if fog lights were an option on your vehicle, and they were pre-wired.
I have an appointment to get the rear fogs coded tomorrow.... and my car goes on a boat headed for Belguim in 5 days.
Was hoping there was someone that could definitively tell me whether or not my car was pre-wired for front fogs. No time to tear it apart right now.
Ok, so I found out from the company that codes BMWs that cars equipped with the msport package are NOT pre-wired for front foglights unless specifically ordered that way from the factory. Good to know.
This is like the 5th question I've posted in this forum in the past 2 years.... none of them have any answers.... none. I ended up answering my own question through alternative research.
Can anyone recommend a better BMW forum that actually has knowledgeable people, references, and is frequented more often? This forum is useless.
