    Transmission type?

    I have a 1995 740il with 5hp30. While perusing inpa, I noticed software for 4 speed auto is what is coded to the car? Am I missing something, should it be 5 speed?

    your car has a 5-speed 5HP30 , the E32 735 and 750 have a 4HP22/24, even the E32 740 already has a 5-speed 5HP30.
