    2011 BMW X6 50i 4.4L V8 twin turbo

What is the cylinder firing order for a 2911 BMW X6 50i 4.4L V8 twin turbo? I thought the order was:
Front left- 1, 2, 3, 4 front being closer to radiator and back being towards firewall. Right side front to back - 5, 6, 7, 8. I have a cylinder 3 misfire and I want to ensure I change the correct ignition coil. I can’t get anyone from bmw service to call me back and answer my question. And google shows several different cylinder firing variations

You need the location of cylinder number three the firing order is the order the cylinders fire in. They never fire 12345678 my old mustang firing order was 163524. Sorry don't know the cylinder location for you but it is probably not the same as the firing order.

Stand in front of the car, facing it. Bank 1 is on the left side, Bank 2 is on the right side. 1 and 5 are closest to you, 4 and 8 are towards the firewall

Swap it from cyl 3 to cyl 2 or 1. Clear the code and restart the car. If it comes back as cyl 3 you need to look at spark plugs or fueling (depending on other CELs, can determine what it is, or with ISTA). If the code follows the coil to wherever you moved it, replace the coil
