    BCABLES Troubleshooting

I purchased the Bcables setup with gts/DIS INPA etc. I can access the DME and EGS modules with little to no problem. I am having trouble connecting to the body modules. Won't connect to any. I am using the cable/software provided. 1999 750il. FWIW it has an ADS/OBD port. Can I access all modules from OBD port or some from ADS and some from OBD?

For anyone who finds this later, I fixed it by changing OBD to ADS in the edibas.ina file. I needed to do this as I have a 1999 750 with an ADS AND obd port. Most modules are not accessed through the obd port in this year car. Followed this vid

You shouldn't have to switch anything to ADS, just simply use your cable with the 20-pin adapter under the hood.

ADS setting is for when using a specific ADS interface, which is totally different than that USB cable you are using.

Not sure why I had to change it, but as soon as I did what I described it worked immediately.

Hi! Anyone have an issue with Bcables new ISTA+ where the instructions, procedures, and wiring diagrams do not pull up?

    Thanks in advance.
