I can't decide if I want to tear it all apart and throw new front-end parts on or just let it go until I pay someone. I mean, it is just going to sound worse, right?
Gotta love the maintenance we have to do. (I am done venting now.)
Seriously, aside from a torque wrench and an extender (pipe; for leverage) am I looking at any special tools? Anyone have a link to a writeup on replacing the suspension parts?
The classic front end noise on the e38 was the center track rod, the car would have to be driven for awhile at city street speeds because the engine heat builds up and causes the ball joints in the rod to start makeing creaking noises. But you could never duplicate it in the shop because you could not drive it long enough
