    Gear icon with exclamation displayed frequently

    BMW 320i touring 2008 model
    Car stops with this icon. It's in limo mode and doesn't move. Had happened 5 times since yesterday. Happened in the middle of the traffic which is quite stressful. When I turn off and turn on it works fine for sometime until I encounter the problem again. There are no error codes logged. What could be the cause? How can I resolve it? Please help.

    Are you using a scanner that can read BMW manufacturer codes?
