Vibrations after front brake pad replacement

    Hey guys,

I had squeking of my fronte brakes. Simply putting some grease on did not show any effect.
Hence, I replaced the front brake pads.

However - now I have really bad vibrations in my steering wheels if I tap the brakes (gently) at 60 miles.
Do you think my brake disc have some "lateral runout"?

    Any ideas what this is?

    Cheers,
    Christian

Did you have the vibrations before replacing the pads?

Where did you apply the grease?

There may be brake pad residue on the rotors. Clean them with coarse sandpaper.

It wose some grease on the disks... I cleaned the disks and after some kilometers it's fine again!
    Many thanks.

Maybe you have warped rotors that causing the vibration.

    That's what I was wondering...

The law does NOT determine "right" from "wrong". They are unrelated.

If you put cheap parts on your car, you will soon have a cheap parts car.
